Victor V. James, Jr., Ph. D.

Dr. James is a Registered Investment Advisor with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission and the State of California Department of Corporations. He is a General Securities Principal with the National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD), a member of the International Association of Financial Planning and a licensed insurance agent for the State of California.

For the past 20 years, Dr. James has been heavily involved in education and has taught at the University of California, Davis; California State Universities San Jose and Hayward; Golden Gate University in San Francisco; and the Peralta Colleges in the Bay Area. He has written numerous public sector articles, monographs and papers.

Dr. James holds three graduate degrees from the University of California, Berkeley: a doctorate in Political Science and Law; a master’s degree in Public Administration/Budgeting; and a master’s degree in Political Science. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in Public Administration from San Jose State University.
